Royal Canin Renal With Fish Diet is formulated for adult cats with renal insufficiency or kidney disease.
The Royal Canin Renal With Fish Diet is formulated to have a low level of phosphorus and a moderate level of high quality, highly digestible protein to support renal function and an appealing aromatic profile/texture with thin slices in gravy to help stimulate appetite, particularly in cases of food aversion..
Recommended for (indications):
- Chronic renal failure (CRF)
- Management of calcium oxalate urolith recurrence in cats with impaired renal function
- Prevention of recurrence of urolithiasis requiring urine alkalinisation: urate & cystine uroliths
- Hepatic encephalopathy
Not recommended for (contraindications):
- Pregnancy
- Lactation
- Growth
Feeding Advice:
Initially feed Renal for up to 6 months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and reduction of oxalate stone formation. For cases of temporary renal insufficiency a period of 2 to 4 weeks feeding is recommended. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.

Excellent
My Cat eats this willing although she prefers the Chicken flavor, its a pity that Royal Canin only has two Flavors in Renal food. This food is really helping to maintain her renal function.
