The last time I purchased one bottle of this product from my vet, it cost me $65. That was about three years ago. Recently, I asked my vet for a repeat prescription for the Linctol. Including the "administration fee" - the cost of writing the script ($33), postage and the amount charged by Petceutics (I'm still bewildered as to how writing a script could possible be worth $33 of anyone's time!!) The Petceutics' price represents great value in my book.
When I needed a new bottle of Linctol Syrup, I enquired the price at two local vets. Both quoted $65. This seemed to be an extreme mark-up, so I researched the product on the net and discovered that I could buy it and have it delivered for a total of $28.40 from Petceutics.com.au. I needed a prescription from my vet and he obliged at no cost, but I was warned that a charge of $25 would be implemented in future for the writing of prescriptions. Even so, I would still be better off than if I'd purchased the product from the vet. My order was dispatched very promptly. I thoroughly recommend this service to others who need to have prescriptions filled for their pets.
